Hair Extension FAQ

We offer hidden bead weft, tape-in, keratin bond, and custom made clip-in extensions.

  • Use sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner.
  • Always brush extensions gently with a loop brush or wide-tooth comb, starting from the ends.
  • Avoid applying conditioner directly to the roots or bonds.
  • Sleep with hair in a loose braid or ponytail to prevent tangling. Wrap in a silk bonnet or scarf.
  • Limit heat styling and always use a heat protectant.
  • Keep extension hair soft and apply oil as needed.
  • Avoid sunscreens containing avobenzone which can discolor extension hair.
  • Throughly dry extensions after washing, never go to bed with wet hair.

Most extensions need to be moved up or adjusted every 6–8 weeks depending on your hair growth and extension type.

Extension maintenance is $100 per hour.  Most full head installations will take 1-2 hours

Yes! But you must sign a waiver acknowledging I cannot guarantee the quality and the longevity of the hair.

With proper care and maintenance hair can last 12-18 months.  I recommend replacing small amount every 3-4 maintenance appointments to keep your hair looking its best.

Lash FAQ

Lash extensions typically last 2–3 weeks before a fill is needed.

• Avoid water and steam for the first 24–48 hours.

• Do not use oil-based products near your eyes.

• Gently cleanse lashes daily with a lash-safe cleanser.

• Avoid rubbing your eyes or pulling on the extensions.

• Brush lashes gently with a clean spoolie daily.

We recommend avoiding mascara, especially waterproof formulas, as they can break down the adhesive.

If you have a history of eye allergies, chronic eye irritation, or sensitivity to adhesives, lash extensions may not be suitable. The glue used can trigger allergic reactions, causing redness, itching, or swelling. Patch tests would be necessary before lash services.

Individuals with certain eye conditions—such as conjunctivitis (pink eye), blepharitis, or styes—should avoid lash extensions until the condition is fully resolved. Extensions can worsen irritation and delay healing.

Contact lens wearers can often get extensions, but if you have difficulty inserting or removing lenses, or experience dry eyes, you may not be the best candidate.
I recommend removing contact lenses during lash application.

No. Frequent rubbing can cause lash extensions to fall out prematurely and increase the risk of eye irritation or infection. It’s best to avoid extensions if you can’t keep from touching your eyes.

If you’ve previously experienced an allergic reaction to lash adhesive or extensions, you are not a candidate. Re-exposure can lead to more severe symptoms, even if a different brand is used.

Lash extensions require a healthy lash base. If your natural lashes are extremely weak, thin, or damaged, extensions may not adhere properly and could cause further lash loss.

We do not lash anyone under 16.  Lashes can be applied with parent or guardian consent to clients 16 and up.
